What information do we collect?

We collect your name, postcode and email address when you use the ‘MP finder’ form on our site. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Your information helps us to direct you to a page on with an open text entry box to send a message direct to your MP. This bypasses several steps within the normal process.

; To create a heatmap of submissions

Your postcode is geocoded to a show a generalised marker on the map on our homepage, this cannot be used to find your home address and the data adds to other weightings in your area to create a heatmap of submissions so we can see, as a community, which MP’s have been contacted more than others.

Your information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of accessing the API to direct you towards your MP. The heatmap is generated using an anonymised list of postcodes entered into our systems.

If you tick the permission box to allow Vapers in Power to contact you, your data will be passed to Vapers in Power for addition to their mailing list (where you give permission). If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from those emails, Vapers in Power will include instructions at the bottom of each email.


We do not share your details with any 3rd parties except those explicitly involved in the process of messaging to your MP.
